In the name of god I pledge to speak the truth, to help the poor, will keep myself away from all sins, skullduggery, sleaziness, deceit, gregariousness, indecent pleasures(I wish someone could have defined me this) and all such wish god forbids I pledge to keep myself away from them in all situation ,I want to show my gratitude towards god by saying that only and only your holy book would be my guiding ethics and I would always follow them as told by your apostles in the world. Lol! I know a lot many eyebrows would raise reading that lol and many would say god proclaims Fatwa for such abhorrence, but if not god fearing at least I m death fearing, so I have devised certain reasons for not getting a Tasleema Nasreen Fate. The whole story started when I watched the movie “Khuda ke liye” two days back. Talking cinema, a impeccably crafted movie, the movie comes of age with a script which has its bolts intact, Shoaib Mansoor traverses through the paths which seems are quite well traveled by him, the movie circumscribes basic Islamic ideology depicting three different parts of world and yes three different hearts of world. Mr. Mansoor projects three character in the movie, two brothers, Mansoor and Sharmat entwined in music, and then their cousin Mary born and brought up in London ,From a father who all his life enjoyed vagaries of life by being more a British than a Pakistani Father. Now who says London doesn’t have parochial groups, so Few of the well wisher of his own community come to him one day and tell him that your daughter is seeing a “gora”, and then hell breaks loose, the shadows of perils after death resurfaces, and In the name of god he pledges he would marry off his daughter only in his own community to save his ass. The basic Ideology comes through in the following dialogue which he says to his live-in partner “You see I am male It’s no harm in Islam for a male to marry outside the community but not for a female, I would be the laughing stock of the community.”
The two brothers Mansoor and Sharmat are a known musician in Pakistan and from a truly liberal Islamic parents who taught them to be more compassionate and tolerant than fanatic. Their younger son Sharmat comes in contact with one of the apostles of “khuda” ,a Muslim cleric who acknowledges him with the greater truths of life. He preaches him about sin and indecent pleasures which includes “music” and in a debate of reasons you see he always has someone else to help him “Khuda himself”,because there are certain truths which can only be known to “ Khuda”. He Says “jub auraat se mohabbat karma hota hain to dil se sochte hoon khuda ke samay dimaag yaad aa jata hain”. And one day with the blessing of Maulawi sahib Sharmat marries Mary in Afghanistan In the name of god. Finally one day Maulawi sahib after Knowing the truth of Sharmat’s marriage being not a Physical union delivers the truth of being a man “Khuda bhi sharminda ho raha hoga tumhein mard banake,bandook to tumse chalenga nahin,aisa karoon isko gulel lake do , do char chidiya mare to mardangi ka safar to chaloo hoon”
Mansoor has been projected as the protagonist in the movie through whom director has shown tolerance, acceptability, forgiveness and respect to every being’s sentiments can only culminate in world peace. A Proficient in music , he joins a music school in U.S. for higher studies, and then one morning the date he sees is 11th September. U.S. intelligence arrests him because he is a Muslim, lives a lavish life, so where the source of money is coming from? And then Shoaib Mansoor quite exemplary depicts cultural difference leading to a bigoted meanings of someone’s honest devotion.
The final reels of movies sees introduction of Naseerudin shah as more of a liberal cleric who delivers the true meaning of khuda’s words and he mentions certain verses which clearly defines khuda never said that Music is sinful, neither is wearing jeans or not having beards. “Din mein darhi hain darhi mein din nahin” .
The movie elucidates the basic approach of people in the world, “U.S. which post 9/11 started seeing every Muslim as laden’s accomplice”, and the most prominent Islamic fear of a cultural encroachment by west in Pakistan, Afghanistan or leaving in any other part of the world. The Libertarian U.S. where a U.S. girl quite vehemently proposes her love to a Muslim Pakistani guy and the Terror plotting ,political instability spreading deceitful U.S. which promotes Muslim extremist to kill Russians and then held a Pakistani captive and tortures him like an animal to accept his allegiance to Osama. And then there is Afghanistan where on asking from women have you ever been to city, reply comes we have never been to other village what to talk about cities. Education for women is surrealism in Afghanistan. The truth of backwardness of the place called Afghanistan can be summed up from the fact that “Development” is not a issue since people can’t think that there is something better off than this. Maybe that explains how a promise of 72 virgins in heaven where one goes after being brutally murdered In the name of God (I know the terms “jihad” and “Fanaa”)has made the paranoid suicidal bids in vogue in Afghanistan. Ignorance may explain the reason for spreading of polity of hatred but then a nation like U.S., which boasts one of the world’s most productive Human resources; it is also proving to be breeding ground for same hatred. What’s the reason for it? Is Religion the big truth? If religion is Big truth then don’t u think we should shun all such gods who for their own superiority are using us as a sacrificial lamb, I think god should be allowed to rest in peace, it’s too late in the day for him to involved in all this, then we need to realize that are certain demi-gods who from eternity has exploited humanity. The need is to understand that the moment we give reasons a break in life ,we are bound to give exploitation some playing ground to experiment.. As Ayn rand says in her book ”if a person says there is a certain reason which is beyond simple man’s perception, he won’t understand “ ,Run away from him as fast as you can., because why in that case god entitled him to know that “greater truth” ,and if god also follows a varnashram system based on birth sort of thing, let him stink in heaven or hell wherever he wants, We declare him imposter today. Any prophet from any community ,sect ,religion no bar ,could have said nothing but do the rightful, otherwise no one would have accepted him as prophet, but then from centuries we human being have evaded the truth of differentiating between right and wrong by deeming ourselves as ignorant, but that was nothing but a mere excuse to sneak out with certain wrong-doings in garb of ignorance, and our act gave this world a century of “witch –doctors” who proclaimed the right to judge morality in the world in context to the “Greater truth” known only to them and we had no option but to become their prey “In the Name of God”. Every one of us can make it quite easily music always feels soothing to ears and relaxes mind, one don’t need to know any other “Greater truth”, But then we can embrace irrationality In the Name of God.
The movie is a technical brilliance ,so people should watch it literally “In the name of God”, whereas I can overhear few mutterings that even I have to meet god after death “kya muh dikhayenga”,” I won’t repeat such mistake in future”, I pledge “In the Name of God”.

Dr Taylor teaches us how to attain deep inner peace - easily, simply, without drugs, anytime we want it. Forgive me for doing everything I can to be sure everyone reads this book and sees this video, but I think all of us benefit and in the larger sense, if everyone reads this, our world will benefit in a very large way.
